Holiday Pictures

I had my 18th Birthday back in 1973 at Looe Cornwall with two very good friends, they might say should I be remembering this holiday so well, because I was very ill from drinking to much & having little to eat!

It was a really great holiday & I had a good 18th Birthday especially the time when we came out of the night club after a few beers & me stating I have always fancied a midnight swim! so off came my clothes & I jumped over a wall which was about 4ft high only to find out that the other side had a 14ft drop! My chin landed on my knee nearly knocked me out. Anyway went for the swim but when I got back to where my clothes was left there was a policeman waiting for me! thank goodness he was a friendly type, told him it was my birthday & he said you better get dressed & go back to your caravan it's getting late.

We met four lads from London & all had a great laugh, Keith met a local girl had a bit of a holiday romance as you do when you are young free & single.

Ken & I went Shark fishing, Looe is the shark fishing headquarters of Great Britain & at the time a lady held the record for the largest shark caught.

We also went for a power boat ride, it had two inboard Volvo engines & it was fast, it was so enjoyable we had another ride straight after came back soaked.

Most nights we were in the bars & night club dancing the night away, I think the popular music at the time in the night club was 10CC rubber bullets not really my type of music, but you do not care what music they played after 10 pints ha ha, (well we were young!)
